What we do

We provide the following services:-

1) Interactive environmental education workshops for students, enabling schools to fulfil sustainability targets. SusSEd Bus workshops encourage young people to think critically about global issues whilst drawing attention to the links with their own behaviour and lifestyles. They are designed to empower and inspire pupils to become more responsible consumers.

2) INSET training days for staff. Our tailored agenda will enable all staff to incorporate sustainability across the curriculum and throughout the school. We provide teachers with ideas for classroom activities which can enable the whole school to have greater environmental awareness. Non-teaching staff members are encouraged to participate, as many aspects require a whole-school approach.

3) Consultancy and advice, help with S3 self-assessment form, preparation for Ofsted. The government has set targets for every school to be sustainable by 2020. Ofsted now carry out performance tests for these new targets. We offer assessments for your school to help and encourage you to reach these goals before your Ofsted visit.
